Updates for Masses beginning June 6-7

Dear Parishioners and Friends of St. Peter & St. Martin of Tours Parishes,

This morning the Dane County Health Department issued Emergency Order #4 (see the Dane County Health Department website for more information), allowing religious entities to hold services at 25% occupancy of total capacity. This change was a result of the appeals from the faithful of the Diocese and the leadership of Bishop Donald Hying, the priests of Dane County parishes, with legal representation from the Becket Fund for Religious Liberty, which promotes religious liberty for all.

This weekend we will continue to follow the guidelines from the Diocese of Madison, made in conformity with the Dane County Health guidelines. There will NOT be a sign up or reservation needed to attend any Mass at either parish church. If the occupancy has been reached for a given Mass, a sign will be posted outside letting people know this. Please be respectful of physical distancing when coming to, attending, and leaving the parish churches. A reminder that Catholics are still dispensed from their normal obligation to keep holy the Lord's Day by attending and assisting at Sunday Mass. Masses will still be live-streamed or posted to our YouTube page, found HERE. Below are listed the temporary weekend Mass times and locations. The guidance for attending Mass is also attached.

WEEKEND MASS TIMES

Saturday, 4:30pm at St. Peter (live-streamed) Sunday, 7:30am at St. Martin of Tours (recording posted online shortly after Mass) Sunday, 9:00am at St. Peter (live-streamed) Sunday, 4:30pm at St. Peter (live-streamed)

Please pray that we can all return safely to Mass, and that the Lord would increase our faith and trust in Him in these trying days.

- Fr. Chris
