Eucharist

The Sacrament of the Eucharist is the Sacrament of Love, where Christ gives Himself to us, Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity.

"The Eucharist is 'the source and summit of the Christian life.' The other sacraments, and indeed all ecclesiastical ministries and works of the apostolate, are bound up with the Eucharist and are oriented toward it. For in the blessed Eucharist is contained the whole spiritual good of the Church, namely Christ himself, our Pasch."

Children usually make their First Communion in second grade through attending St. Peter School or enrolling in our Faith Formation program. For those who are older, other programs are available to assist in preparing for First Communion.
