Announcements Flyer

Folders today contain the following items for each family (unless noted otherwise):

1. Individual reminders about a variety of things.


2. Scrip order Form for your convenience.


3. Advent Charity Drive. Donations for the Little Sisters of the Poor Advent charity drive will need to be at school by this Friday, December 2. Dcn. Michael will be delivering to them in Chicago in the next week. Thank you for your generosity.


4. Drive Through Santa Visit in Cross Plains this coming Saturday, December 3. See flyer for details and map.


5. St. Andrew Novena Prayer to pray as we prepare for Christmas. The prayer is said 10 times a day until Christmas.


OTHER ANNOUNCEMENTS:


1. Reminders: St. Nicholas will be making his annual visit next Monday night. Please send an extra shoe to school for students to place on top of their lockers for St. Nicholas to fill.


Knights of Columbus "Keep Christ in Christmas" poster contest. Students in grades 1 through 4th grade can participate. Each student in those grades were given a packet that has the instructions for parents to work with their children. Posters are due back at school by December 16th. If there are any 5th or 6th graders that want to enter, that is a different category and instructions for access to form is online. You can find the info in the packet.


2. St. Anne Group: You're Invited This School Year! The St. Anne Scripture Study Group is a women's bible study that meets weekly to read, discuss and pray over the Gospel for the upcoming Sunday. We meet on Fridays in the school cafeteria after the 8:15 a.m. school Mass (9:00 or so) until 10:15 a.m., unless the St. Peter playgroup meets that week, which is usually the first Friday of the month. The St. Anne Group is open to all women, parishioners, school moms and any other women, who want to join in. Kids are welcome, and we will have toys on hand. If your schedule allows you to come each week or drop in occasionally, we would be delighted to have you! Please contact Laura Karlen (608-445-2064 or ljkarlen@hotmail.com) with questions or to be added to the St. Anne Group e-mail list.
